Job Summary: The BHU Nurse Educator, under the direction of the Director of Behavioral, is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for BHU nursing and ancillary staff to ensure compliance with standards, promote evidence-based practice, and support continuous quality improvement. This role supports orientation, competency validation, continuing education, and professional development across the organization.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing,
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred.
- Current RN licensed by the state of Kentucky or compact state.
- BLS certification by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
EXPERIENCE: At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, to include proven experience/expertise in the clinical area.
