Highlights
Summary: The RN- Worker’s Compensation Case Manager shall be responsible to coordinate, administer, and oversee the Baptist Health Worker’s Compensation program. This individual will review, investigate, and make decisions regarding compensability and appropriateness of claims. The RN will process and document worker compensation claims, ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation. Additionally, this individual will be a liaison with and advise external agencies and regulatory bodies in the administration of claims and in the care and disposition of claimants. The RN will also facilitate the transitional duty program. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Education/Experience
Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 2 years hospital-based experience in Occupational Health and/or workers compensation experience required. At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
License / Certification
Active RN license required, BLS required
