Baptist Health Center for Clinical Research (BHCCR) is seeking a full-time APRN to join the clinical research team. This role focuses on providing direct patient care for clinical trial participants, conducting study-specific physical exams, and ensuring all trials are conducted safely and according to protocol guidelines. The APRN will work directly with Principal Investigators and the Clinic Manager to oversee trial execution.
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and review medical histories for clinical trial participants.
- Evaluate patients to determine eligibility for specific research studies.
- Monitor patients for adverse events and report findings to the Principal Investigator and study sponsor.
- Order, perform, and review required clinical tests, including lab work, EKGs, and imaging.
- Maintain precise patient records and complete study documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Educate patients on study expectations, procedures, and investigational medications.
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered APRN license in the state of Arkansas.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Previous clinical research experience is preferred.
