Under the leadership of the Clinical Patient Educator/Perinatal leadership team the Pool Childbirth educator utilizes the concepts of Childbirth Education to plan, direct and evaluate a parent’s understanding of the material presented and serves as a resource person when needed either before, during or after delivery to the patient and family.

Additional Qualifications
- BSN. Graduate of accredited School of Nursing; RNs hired prior to 2/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen’s) are not required to have BSN to continue in their non-leadership role as an RN. CPR, Certifications in area of specialty preferred. Certification within 3 years.
