What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ware Diet Aide position at Baptist Community Services and Careers?
Location: Ware Living Center
Scheduled Days: Rotating Days
Hours: 12:00pm - 8:30pm
Working as a food service aide in our nursing home or one of the assisted living facilities offers personal fulfillment. You will contribute to an environment focused on care and compassion while gaining valuable experience in food service. This role is rewarding as you will make a difference in residents’ lives by regularly interacting with them, bringing joy to them and personal satisfaction to you.
Under the direct supervision of the Food Service Supervisor/Manager assists with food preparation and serving for elders, staff and customers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Must be able to read, speak and write English. Must be able to make simple math calculations.
ESSENTIALS OF JOB:
1. Serves food selections according to requests and/or diet orders. (frequently)
2. Sets up tables, buses tables and resets tables. (Ware – frequently; AL – occasionally)
3. Maintains clean and sanitized work areas. (constantly)
4. Must be able to commit the time necessary from an attendance and punctuality standpoint
to accomplish the above specified Essentials of Job. (constantly)
