Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing before software releases.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and project managers to clarify requirements.
- Test web applications, APIs, and software integrations as needed.
- Maintain accurate test documentation and quality assurance reports.
- Participate in requirements reviews and identify potential quality risks.
- Support release testing and help ensure applications meet acceptance criteria.
- Recommend improvements to testing processes, coverage, and product quality.
Requirements
- Experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related technical role.
- Understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
- Ability to create clear test cases and document reproducible defects.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage testing tasks and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of programming or scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows.
