Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales transactions efficiently
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including handling kitchen equipment safely
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations, process cash and card payments accurately, and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly
- Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Background in food preparation, culinary experience, or food industry roles is a plus
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining high-quality service
- Experience with retail sales transactions, cashiering, or grocery store operations is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations
