Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to support smooth service flow
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and plating assistance
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas in compliance with health standards
- Handle food items with care following proper food handling procedures
- Support catering events and banquet setups by ensuring all dishware and utensils are prepared and cleaned promptly
- Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and cleanliness throughout shifts
Skills
- Experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, cleaning procedures, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with bussing, food preparation, catering, and banquet experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
