Role: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
As an SDR at Banyan Water, you’ll be the front line of growth, generating awareness, creating
opportunities, and shaping how the commercial real estate industry thinks about water
management. You’ll work closely with our Enterprise Sales Directors and leadership team to
build a strong top-of-funnel pipeline that leads to lasting customer partnerships.

dollars in commercial property assets are managed.

What You’ll Do
● Drive outbound campaigns to generate new opportunities through high-volume,
targeted outreach.
● Build market awareness by positioning Banyan’s value proposition to property owners,
operators, and asset managers.
● Qualify and nurture early-stage leads, then schedule discovery calls and demos for
our Enterprise Sales Directors.
● Collaborate to refine messaging and targeting for strategic accounts, including
creating or customizing sales assets.
● Maintain accurate and timely reporting in Salesforce and optimize outreach cadences
in Salesloft.
● Stay informed on water cost trends, sustainability regulations, and industry
challenges to engage prospects with relevant insights.
● Be accountable for volume metrics such as calls, emails, and meetings booked to fuel
pipeline growth.
What You’ll Bring to Banyan
● B.A. or B.S. degree, preferably in Business, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or
related field.
● 1–3 years of experience in a sales or BDR/SDR role, preferably in SaaS (RE or proptech
a bonus), IoT, or sustainability-focused industries.
● Strong communication skills—you can connect with everyone from property managers to
C-suite executives.
● Proven ability to hit and exceed metrics in a fast-paced environment both
independently and collaboratively, as necessary.
● Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, and other CRM tools preferred.
● Passion for sustainability, innovation, and making a measurable impact.
● A self-starter who thrives in a high-growth environment.
