Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Respiratory Therapist, based in St. George, UT. Responsibilities include evaluating and providing respiratory care to patients in a skilled care nursing facility and collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and adjust treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. The therapist will educate patients and their families on respiratory health and assist with equipment management, while upholding high standards of care and compassion in line with the organization's mission.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Respiratory Therapy and Respiratory Care
- Knowledge of Cardiopulmonary and its associated care practices
- Basic understanding of Medicine as it applies to respiratory health
- Certification and licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT), with relevant state licensing in Utah
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess situations and implement appropriate care plans
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or similar healthcare settings is a plus
