What You’ll Do
- Provide hands-on respiratory care (nebs, assessments, airway clearance, etc.)
- Track progress and adjust care plans
- Work directly with nursing physicians to improve outcomes
- Be the respiratory expert in the building
- Active RT license (RRT or CRT)
- BLS (ACLS if working with vents — can get after hire)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Consistent patients — actually see improvement over time
- Autonomy — you’re the respiratory lead in the building
- Support — we handle the backend so you can focus on care
- Growth — help build something new in post-acute care

Requirements
Qualifications:
Regulatory Requirements
- Current state and national Respiratory Therapist licensure in good standing.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification if working with residents in ventilator units (or obtain within six months of hire).
- Knowledge of general clinical services and respiratory care practices.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment.
- Ability to handle complex or difficult situations professionally.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow ethical standards in patient care.
- Position requires walking for approximately 10–12 hours per day.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and manual handling of equipment.
- Work performed under varying temperatures and environmental conditions.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required to meet operational needs.
- Ability to tolerate high-pressure and fast-paced clinical environments.
- Requires talking, hearing, seeing, and fine motor coordination for patient care and equipment management.
