Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the apartment facilities to ensure high standards are met
- Respond swiftly to resident maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical systems, heating, and air conditioning
- Assist in making ready apartments for new residents, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained
- Maintain the property grounds and surrounding areas, including landscaping and snow removal
- Document maintenance activities and inventory of parts and supplies accurately
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance tasks
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general maintenance procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to work on-call shifts and respond to emergencies as needed
