Summary:
Banton is seeking to immediately hire a qualified Construction Superintendent. The successful candidate will be assigned to Amtrak Rhinecliff, NY, or Norwalk, CT Transit Station . There is also opportunity for growth and advancement within the company once the Project is completed. Our headquarters are based in North Haven, CT, and we have an active pipeline of projects throughout the region.
Requirements:
- Must be able to read and interpret plans, specifications, and work plans.
- Must be able to reliably commute/report to the job-site location in Hamden, CT.
- Experience working in an occupied academic setting is strongly preferred.
- Quality control and safety related credentials are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations of an active construction project, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Manage and supervise on-site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Implement safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Coordinate with project team to align project goals and objectives.
- Review plans and project documents to ensure accurate execution of the project design.
- Utilize construction management software for tracking progress and reporting.
