cellence.Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Keyholder role located in Deptford, NJ. The Keyholder supports daily store operations, including opening and closing the store, handling cash procedures, and maintaining store security. This role assists in leading the sales floor, guiding team members, and ensuring a welcoming, inclusive environment for every customer. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging customers, providing jewelry and piercing product information, performing retail sales transactions, maintaining visual standards, and supporting inventory tasks. The Keyholder also helps resolve customer concerns, upholds safety and cleanliness standards, and partners with store leadership to achieve sales and service goals.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Experience, with the ability to build rapport and foster repeat visits.
- Retail Sales and Communication skills to effectively engage shoppers, present product options, and support a smooth checkout process.
- Product Knowledge related to jewelry and piercing services, with a willingness to learn features, materials, care, and safety guidelines.
- Previous retail, keyholder, or supervisory experience preferred, including basic cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, and holidays), and perform light physical tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a team-focused, inclusive, and customer-centric environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus.
