What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Representative Float position at Banner Federal Credit Union?
Banner Federal Credit Union is looking for a friendly, motivated Member Service Representative (MSR) to join our team! This role focuses on providing excellent member service while assisting with everyday financial transactions and account needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and official checks
- Assisting members in person, by phone, and through the mail
- Opening new accounts and servicing existing accounts
- Renewing certificates and assisting with IRA accounts
- Balancing daily cash transactions
- Answering member questions about credit union products and services
- Performing general clerical duties including filing, scanning, and answering phones
- Cross-selling credit union services that benefit our members
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and office equipment skills
- Cash handling experience required (banking or credit union experience a plus)
- Must be able to pass a background and credit check and be authorized to work in the U.S.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:45 PM
