Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Garner, NC, for a Tower Foreman. The Tower Foreman will oversee daily activities of construction or maintenance projects, manage crew members, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include run the crew and assign tasks, oversee all construction activities on towers and rooftops, ensure work meets quality standards and maintaining clear communication with team members and supervisors. The role requires strong leadership and a commitment to project deadlines and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, with a focus on leadership and team management
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy equipment
- Excellent communication skills for clear and effective interactions with team members and stakeholders
- Experience in carpentry and construction-related tasks
- Knowledge and experience in general maintenance practices
- Emphasis on safety protocols and adherence to regulatory standards
- Ability to work on-site in an outdoor environment
- Experience in tower construction or a related industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in construction or heavy equipment operation are a plus
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years tower experience, with at least 1 year as a lead or foreman
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
- Strong knowledge of Verizon standards, RFDS, and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and scopes of work
- Proficiency with fiber/coax testing, PIM/Sweep (a plus)
- Valid climber/rescue certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
