Position Overview:
Banner Christian School is seeking a Varsity Girls Basketball Coach to lead and develop student-athletes in a Christ-centered environment. The coach will be responsible for building a competitive program while emphasizing skill development, discipline, teamwork, and character.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct practices and skill development sessions
- Coach games and implement team systems, strategy, and in-game adjustments
- Develop individual and team performance
- Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration
- Ensure compliance with school and conference policies
Schedule Requirements:
Flexible schedule required, including regular evening and weekend hours for practices, games, and tournaments.
Qualifications:
- Previous playing and/or coaching experience preferred (basketball experience strongly preferred)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to mentor and develop student-athletes in a Christ-centered environment
- Commitment to the mission and values of Banner Christian School
- Successful completion of a background check is required
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications:
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Coaching certifications or relevant basketball training
Pay: $3,000.00 per year
