CLIENT RELATIONSHIP SPECIALIST - MANKATO, MN - FULL-TIME

The Client Relationship Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships by opening new accounts, expanding existing ones, and providing exceptional service. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients, handling daily banking needs, advising on products and services, and identifying opportunities to deepen relationships. Responsibilities include cross-selling bank products, processing transactions, assisting with business account onboarding, and ensuring client satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-up. A thorough understanding of consumer and business banking products is essential for success in this position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily responsibilities include cross-selling bank products, responding to client requests, processing stop payments, wire transfer, telephone transfers, placing check orders and processing special instructions on accounts.
• Open consumer deposit account products to include Checking & Savings Accounts, Certificate of Deposits, IRA & HSA Plans and Safe Deposit Boxes.
• Assist Treasury Management Officers with onboarding business client accounts including Checking & Savings Accounts, Certificate of Deposits, debit cards, etc.
• Advise clients on bank services for their needs by asking open-ended questions. Make recommendations on bank products and services that best meet their individual needs.
• Perform daily office responsibilities and tasks such as account transactions, account maintenance and client correspondence.
• Perform follow-up calls with current clients for service check-in and future needs.
• Maintain public relations contact with local community.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of four (2) years of experience in retail & business banking required,
• Experience with treasury management products and/or consumer lending is preferred.
• Candidate must demonstrate a consistent track record of delivering exceptional client service.
• Experience with Fiserv Premier preferred.
