Overview:
As a BankSouth IT Specialist I, you will be a trusted advisor; solving problems for users of the banks information technology solutions and will be responsible for educating and advising others on the use of these solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform User provisioning for Bankss solutions and directories as needed
- Provide exceptional support while demonstrating a sense of priorities.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, servers, and all other computer related systems, devices, and equipment.
- Maintain documented resolutions and operating procedures.
- Maintain user accounts on networks and applications. Make certain proper permissions are established within applications and in the network operating systems.
- Develop plans for small to medium size projects involving primarily IT systems and resources; compare actual project tasks and schedule against original plans.
- Uses Microsoft Products and other desktop applications at an intermediate level of proficiency and instruct others in kind
- Able to write detailed messages and documents for training, problemsolving, procedural documentation, and other uses
- Resolves IT requests efficiently and timely as measured by SysAid ticket records.
- Continually improve knowledge of Bank IT systems through research and continuing education
- Knowledgeable about all of the Banks enduser software to be able to efficiently solve uncommon and complex end-user problems
- Able to expertly configure, operate, troubleshoot, and train on specialty systems of the Bank.
Experience & Education:
College degree or Certification(s) in the area of Information Technology/Cybersecurity or equivalent years of experience is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have the ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and accurately. Experience pertaining to Cybersecurity fundamentals. Knowledge of O365, Azure, Microsoft Windows and Servers, Active Directory, domain administration and security. General networking or programming knowledge. Cloud services, specifically secure compute cloud options experience. Experience pertaining to the fundamentals of excellent customer service with an emphasis on internal customers in a support desk/ticket system environment
