This Opportunity is for a Mortage Processing Coordinator with a work location in Ridgeland, MS.
General Position Scope
The Mortgage Processing Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the loan origination and processing team by ordering and tracking required documents for the processor to submit a mortgage loan file for initial underwriting approval, clearing prior to closing conditions for final approval and closing.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for ordering and tracking appraisal orders through various appraisal ordering software, Homeowners and Flood insurance policies, Title Commitments and other items from Title and Settlement Agencies
- Ensure that homeowners and flood insurance policies are in place
- Responsible for ordering Fraud Guard reports, tax transcripts, and other required loan documents such as written and verbal verifications of employment
- Order FHA Case Number and CAIVRS
- Review the file and make sure all required documentation is requested
- Communicate with Loan Originators and Processors regarding any missing documentation required to place orders, data entry discrepancies and relay any communication from vendors
- Ensure orders are placed accurately logged and followed up on a timely basis
- Make sure all orders received are complete and accurate, place documentation in eFolder as received
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E; etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank's standard of conduct.
- Participation in the bank's High-Performance Rewards Connections program. Make referrals to Mortgage Dept. and Wealth Management.
Associate's degree preferred.
- One year of clerical, bookkeeping or administration experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary and to multi-task and work effectively in a high-pressured environment.
