Key Responsibilities
- Design leadership: Develop innovative interior design concepts aligned with client vision, brand identity, and functional requirements.
- Project management: Plan, coordinate, and execute projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Client collaboration: Lead client meetings, present design proposals, and maintain strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team coordination: Supervise junior designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Technical documentation: Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and material boards for construction and installation.
- Quality assurance: Conduct site visits, oversee installations, and ensure adherence to design intent and standards.
- Vendor & contractor management: Source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage contractor relationships.
- Trend & compliance awareness: Stay updated on design trends, sustainability practices, and building codes/regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Experience: 7 years of professional interior design experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/project management role.
- Technical proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
- Leadership skills: Strong ability to mentor, delegate, and inspire design teams.
- Communication: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
