What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Processing Assistant II position at BankFive?
PURPOSE:
The Mortgage Processing Assistant II is responsible for managing loan file disclosures from application through processing. Works closely with closing with Mortgage Loan Originators and Processors to ensure prompt and accurate disclosure of loan terms, as well as the timely initiation of third-party documentation orders. Proficiency in using Encompass LOS is required.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Prepare and submit initial loan disclosures and re-disclosures in accordance with TRID regulations
- Generate initial closing disclosures and re-disclosures in accordance with TRID guidelines.
- Orders third party verifications such as . Flood Certs, VOE’s, ADV-120, SSA-89’s, Appraisals, Titles, as needed for the Branches and Residential as needed
- Monitor loans that need to be disclosed in Encompass and the Branches
- Advance loan files to appropriate processing milestones within Encompass
- Track receipt of Initial Disclosures and Issue NOI’s on Non-Returned Disclosures
- Ordering appraisals and request case numbers for VA loans
- Process Blue credit card requests for appraisals
- Obtaining Relationship profiles for files
- Proper filing of documents into Encompass E folder for preapprovals and Loan Officers without Loan Officer Assistants LOA’s
- Deliver prompt, high-quality service to originating branches and correspondents while having a sales friendly attitude without compromising quality of risk.
- Filing documents in Identifi as needed
SECONDARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Performs other assigned duties as needed by management.
- Assist with the completion of the Post Closing QC function and retrieval of Closing Packages
- Reconcile Credit Vendor Invoices for Accounts Payable
- Manage Collateral Receipt
- Assist with reconciling Identify exception report
- Following for and submission of Trailing Documents to Investors
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Banking experience with knowledge of lending preferred
- High school graduate or equivalent, preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
EFFORT:
- Able to meet strict deadlines.
- Work includes changing priorities for multiple, simultaneous projects
- Needs to be able to move about inside the office space to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. / confined storage areas.
- Essential to follow written and verbal directions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, and scanners.
- Use of hands and fingers to handle/ operate a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, telephone, scanner, computer printer.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Standard 40 -hour work week expected, though position may sometimes require early arrival, late departure, and/or Saturday / Sunday hours.
- Private office opening to an open floor plan with cubicles.
- Frequent distractions include overhearing coworker conversations, employees working through the area and similar interruptions.
Salary : $35,490 - $49,690
