Job Summary:
The Content Coordinator will write and produce quality, creative and effective content for marketing initiatives that enable business units (Consumer, Commercial and Wealth Management) to achieve their business goals. This position will develop and sustain the company’s voice across all content platforms in a clear and concise way, including for social media, website, email marketing and additional marketing collateral.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Writes various forms of content to be used across all print and digital marketing channels (ads, direct mail, brochures, posters, flyers, banners, invitations, website landing pages, social media posts, Education Center articles, etc.) to drive customers and prospects through the marketing funnel.
- Works with leaders, Marketing representatives, and vendor partners to support marketing needs for business units to help them meet their growth goals with innovative, timely, high-quality and effective solutions.
- Builds strong working relationships with the Bank's Consumer, Commercial and Wealth Management teams to deepen knowledge of products and services and ensure consistent and effective marketing and writing
- Helps oversee the bank’s social media channels, partnering with team members to leverage external and internal communications, community investment and marketing campaigns to create effective and engaging social content
- Collaborates with leader and the Marketing and Communications team, as well as others throughout the bank, on marketing and communications opportunities and challenges
- Provides feedback and editing to other writers’ content. Ensures comprehensive and consistent copy style within projects/campaigns
- Supports creation of digital content for bank-owned websites, optimizing content for search engines and lead generation as needed
- Makes data-driven decisions to move the team and our content forward in order to hit company sales and customer retention goals
- Stays up-to-date with the latest marketing and banking industry trends in order to build effective and innovative content strategies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- BA/BS degree in Marketing or Communications preferred (or equivalent working experience)
- At least one year of marketing and content creation experience preferred
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business’ various types of content
- Savvy wordsmith with a knack and love for writing
- Proficiency producing content for the web across several disciplines (text, design, video, etc.) and media (blogging, guides, whitepapers, research, infographics, podcasts, etc.)
- Excellent creativity skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Process-driven, scalable thought process, which relies on data to make decisions
- Ability to stay within a given budget
- Knowledge of banking products helpful
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Hiring Salary Range
The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $58,000 - $69,000
