Role Description The Investment Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Madison, WI. This role is responsible for leading and managing investment strategies and portfolios that support the needs of community bank clients, aligning solutions with their risk profiles and financial objectives. The Investment Director will oversee investment research and analysis, monitor market trends, and recommend appropriate fixed income and other investment products. Daily responsibilities include advising clients and internal stakeholders on investment opportunities, preparing portfolio reviews and performance reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal risk management standards. The role also involves collaborating with relationship managers, participating in product development initiatives, presenting market insights to clients and teams, and mentoring junior investment professionals.
Qualifications
- Strong investment management capabilities, including experience overseeing portfolios and aligning investments with client objectives.
- Proficiency in investments and investment strategies, with a track record of constructing and evaluating diversified portfolios.
- Advanced analytical skills and finance knowledge, including the ability to interpret market data, interest rate movements, and economic indicators.
- Demonstrated ability to advise institutional or bank clients on investment solutions, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or professional designation (e.g., CFA, CFP) preferred.
