Has completed at least 5/16 fillet weld test
Reads and interprets blueprints for fitting operation
Responsible for work conforming to drawings and notes
Burns, copes and bevels and straightens material
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Does minor layout, for Jigs and floor laydowns
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and other employees
Does complex layout, for Jigs and floor laydowns
Ability to read and interpret all blueprints
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and other employees as noted below
Ensures that production staff is following to all appropriate safety standards through training and accountability;
Provides guidance, instruction, direction and leadership while directly supervising production staff to meet the established production and quality standards;
Provides the team with the vision of the project objectives;
Provides motivation and accountability to the team;
Responsible for providing training to production staff as needed;
Encourages constant improvement and leads by example; Wearing the proper safety equipment.
