JOB DESCRIPTION Substitute Teacher for Nursery - Eighth Grade classroomsStart Date: ASAPSchedule: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM on days when needed Pay Rate: $20/hour Responsibilities:The Substitute Teacher's responsibilities might include but are not limited to:Collaborating with other colleagues and educators in support of the children being coveredMeeting and instructing assigned classes in the locations and at the times designatedMaintaining a classroom environment conducive to effective learningSupervising lunch, rest, and/or recessHelping with set up, clean up, and some clerical workTaking all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, materials, equipment, and facilitiesAbiding by school regulations for health and safety during the 2023-2024 school year during the pandemic (ex: mask wearing, distancing) Substitutes specializing in Elementary Music, Physical Education, Art, Spanish, Library, and Movement are also needed. All teachers help build a collaborative, cooperative, and reflective approach to working as a classroom teaching team.
