JOB DESCRIPTION Adjunct Instructor- CPSTEED501N Art with Young Children (Ages 3
- 8 Years)This course provides strategies for incorporating rich art experiences for young children in avariety of settings. Participants will work with art materials and consider the contribution of art tochildren's learning and development. Topics to be discussed include: setting up art areas;selecting, presenting, and storing materials; planning a meaningful sequence of art experiences;how to make appropriate comments on children's work; and ways to make art an integral part ofthe curriculum.Seeking an experienced educator to design and facilitate this graduate-level course. Theaudience is educators of children 3
- 8 years old with varying years of experience, in a variety ofsettings. This class is offered for 1 graduate credit or as a no-credit workshop where participantscan earn professional learning hours and NYS CTLE hours. The class has historically beenoffered at Bank Street.
