We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Teller to join our banking team.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Teller is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing a variety of banking transactions. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to delivering a positive experience for every customer.
Schedule Requirements
- Flexible availability to work between the hours of operation:
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Individuals in this position normally work up to 25 hours per week.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their banking needs in a courteous and prompt manner.
- Process account transactions including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and cashier’s checks
- Balance cash drawers at the end of your shift, count and package coins and currency, turn in any excess or damaged currency to supervisor
- Deliver outstanding customer service to customers and visitors.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all bank policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn banking systems.
