Job Purpose & Scope:
- Serves as the primary contact for all matters relating to loan operations in conjunction with the department’s Portfolio Management.
- Performs proactive monitoring, governance, and risk identification and escalation responsibilities related to assigned department, and makes sound risk decisions commensurate with policy, procedures, and regulations.
- Processes, examines, monitors, and reconciles client collateral and loan information including but not limited to, client sales, credit memos, cash receipts, accounts receivables, inventory, ineligibles, borrowing bases certificates, excess availability, and reserves.
- Creates and inputs new loans in the system and reconciles the new loan set-up to ensure it adheres to the credit approval memo and loan agreements.
- Processes, posts, reconciles, and decisions loan advance requests in accordance with credit policy and authority.
- Reconciles collateral, loan balance, and availability daily.
- Computes and reconciles collateral ineligibles and reserves in adherence to the loan agreement.
- Sets up, monitors, and follows-up on collateral, financial, and other reporting requirements in the loan system.
- Trains new clients on reporting procedures.
- Ensures all client reporting is performed in accordance with the terms of the loan agreement and works with clients to resolve reporting inadequacies and problems with escalation to management attention, as necessary.
- Maintains effective risk controls including effectively following and adhering to policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, escalating and remediating issues effectively and timely, and making sound risk decisions.
- Ensures data integrity and accuracy of the loan system at all times.
- Follows all Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.
- Regularly exercised discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.

- High school diploma or equivalent, required; Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business management, or job-related field, preferred.
- Work experience in asset-based lending and/or collateral monitoring, preferred.
- Work experience in a bank or non-bank commercial lending company in a loan servicing or credit risk function, preferred.
- Experience with relevant software such as IDS/ABLM.net or CIBM.net (Solifi/Stucky), Monarch, AR Wizard, and/or Access, preferred.
Operate customary equipment and technology used in a business environment, with or without accommodation.
