Position: Full-Time Customer Service Representative – Manhattan East location
Hours
· Weekdays: 7:15 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (flexibility required; hours may vary between 7:15 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
· Saturdays: 7:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Position Summary
The Full-Time Customer Service Representative is a versatile, full-service role responsible for supporting all areas of branch operations, including teller transactions, new accounts, and customer relationship management. This position plays a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality service while supporting team members and contributing to overall branch success.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and other account activity with accuracy and efficiency
· Open new accounts and perform account maintenance while ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience
· Assist customers in person, by phone, and through digital channels, providing knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging service
· Support daily branch operations, including debit card servicing, night drop and mail processing, and resolving customer inquiries or concerns
· Perform cash handling functions such as coin and cash orders, ATM balancing, and vault maintenance while adhering to bank policies and procedures
· Monitor account activity for potential fraud or concerns and escalate appropriately
· Collaborate with team members to ensure adequate branch coverage, support operational needs, and contribute to an efficient workflow
· Build strong customer relationships through meaningful conversations, identifying needs and promoting appropriate bank products and services
· Assist in other areas of the bank, including lending and operations, and perform additional duties as needed to support overall branch success
Preferred Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Previous customer service, cash handling, or banking experience preferred
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in multiple environments
· Basic computer and office equipment proficiency
