We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commercial Loan Processor to join our team in Broussard. In this role, you will be responsible for working with the Commercial Loan Officer in managing loan files from application through closing, ensuring all documents is accurate and complete. Entering intakes to LaserPro for processing loan documents and uploading loan files to our core system. You will serve as the key point of contact between borrowers and the loan officer.
Responsibilities
- communicate with borrowers, loan officers, and third parties to obtain missing information
- track loan progress and maintain timelines to meet closing deadlines
- resolve any issues or discrepancies in loan files
- maintain accurate records and update loan status in processing system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or two to three years' experience in a financial institution or loan office setting
- 1-3 years of Commercial processing or related experience preferred
- understanding of loan collateral & security products plus perfecting the recording of collateral/securities
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- excellent communication and customer service abilities
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- proficiency in Microsoft office, Phoenix, & LaserPro
