This position is responsible for the ongoing management of relationships to assist the assigned Banker(s) in realizing efficiencies, quality of the process and product, retention, and expansion of banking relationships consistent with the bank’s goals and objectives for growth, credit quality, and rates of return. This position requires knowledge, proficiency, and adherence to internal policies and procedures as well as applicable laws and regulations.
The Business Lending Portfolio Manager position assists business lenders with business loan applications, may include joint officer calls, works with clients on follow-up information and specific requests on business loans, assists in loan closings, serves as an additional point of contact for the borrower, expedites loan renewals, assists in monitoring/tracking loan covenants, oversees business construction loan draw process, assists in the collection of all business related loans and works with charge-offs, and helps in handling bankruptcy claims, estate claims.
This position will provide administrative support (and is to be a liaison to other departments to complete these tasks) for the assigned Banker(s). Works with and through others in the organization to accomplish these responsibilities.
The Business Lending Portfolio Manager promotes business through good client relations in adherence with the Bank’s lending policies and procedures.
