Job Title: Branch Manager
Location: Bloomington, IL
Department: Operations
Reports to: Retail Banking Officer
Average hours per week: Salaried 35
Required Hours Availability: 8am to 5pm Mon – Thurs, 8 – 5:30pm Fri, Saturday 7:30am -12pm
Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our branch office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a leadership role, with a strong understanding of financial services and customer service.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervising teller and CSR staff at the branch
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the branch office, including staff scheduling, training and performance evaluations.
- Implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Review daily reports for accuracy and notify the Supervisor of any potential return items or questionable items.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the market.
- Promote Bank of Pontiac products and services
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate the ability to make sound decisions based on Bank policies, knowledge, and experience.
- Verify that all policies and procedures are followed, and that the risk of fraud is minimized.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of banking experience is preferred
- 3 years of experience in a managerial role
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly: Standing, Talking, Hearing, Feeling/Touching, Vision – close, peripheral, depth, ability to adjust focus
- Frequently: Walking
- Occasionally: Sitting, climbing and/or crawling, Lifting objects up to 10 pounds
