Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cash handling working experience, Required
- Promote cross-sell bank products and services
- Provide exceptional service to all customers both internal and external
- Process transactions: deposits, withdrawals, cashier’s checks, payments, wire transfers, etc.
- Responsible for balancing cash as required by policy or process
- Reliable and dependable
- Honest and trustworthy
- Collaborate and brainstorm to improve bank processes and procedures
- Maintain knowledge of the bank policies and financial center procedures and take responsibility to keep up to date on any changes
- Handle consumer and business customer requests with professionalism, directing more complex issues seamlessly to the lead customer service representative or other leadership as necessary
- Demonstrate sound judgement in decision making, abiding appropriately to established guidelines and procedures
- Serve as a bank representative in professional, business and community organizations to promote bank services.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Minimum of two year working experiences in a customer service position, required
- Bank teller experience, required
- Position involves extensive cash handling, which requires ability to perform math and ability to balance regularly
- Position involves contact with the public, necessitating the ability to present a professional image
- Must have the ability to interact comfortably and confidently with the public and demonstrate the initiative to initiate dialogue
- Knowledge of Microsoft software products, preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Sufficient computer literacy
