We’re seeking a ROCKSTAR Junior Credit Analyst to join our team and help assess and manage the credit risk for our bank. Key Responsibilities
Credit Risk Assessment & Management
• Analysis of credit risk for loan applications, providing recommendations to senior management.
• Perform detailed credit analysis, including financial statement reviews, market trends, and creditworthiness of potential borrowers.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal credit policies.
• Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio and provide early warning on potential risks or emerging issues.
• Prepare comprehensive credit reports for senior leadership and board review.
Collaboration with Loan Officers & Executive Team
• Work closely with loan officers to evaluate new and existing loan applications.
• Offer strategic guidance to lending teams on risk mitigation and portfolio performance.
• Provide advice and recommendations to management on credit policies and procedures.
Team Leadership & Development
• Foster a collaborative environment within the credit department to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Actively contribute to the ongoing development of credit processes and policies to enhance efficiency and minimize risk.
Qualifications
Experience: 2 years of experience in credit analysis, lending, or a similar role, preferably in a banking environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred, but not required with experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., Credit Risk Certification) are a plus.
Skills:
o Knowledge of credit analysis, financial statements, and loan documentation.
o Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management practices.
o Proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Personality:
o Detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy in analysis and reporting.
