Job Summary
The Teller Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the teller line, ensuring efficient, accurate, and customer-focused service. This role includes supervising teller staff, managing cash operations, maintaining compliance with bank policies and regulations, and providing leadership and training to team members.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise Teller Operations:
- Coordinate and monitor daily teller activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain operational integrity and compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements.
2. Staff Management:
- Schedule and assign work to teller staff.
- Train, mentor, and coach new and existing tellers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Working a teller drawer when needed, including some Saturdays.
3. Customer Service:
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve complex issues.
- Promote a positive customer experience and identify opportunities for cross-selling bank products.
4. Cash Management:
- Oversee vault cash, teller drawers, and ATM balancing.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and timely audits.
5. Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports for management.

Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance preferred.
Experience:
3–5 years of banking experience, including teller operations.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
