Description
Position Purpose: A Facilities Technician is an organized individual, with a working knowledge of basic facilities, property, and related equipment. Has the ability to coordinate with vendors and oversee multiple projects at one time. The Facilities Technician has safety and security top of mind and demonstrates best-in-class service to our internal and external customers by keeping the facilities clean and secure.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure compliance with code and safety regulations across multiple locations.
- Maintain regular preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment and internal systems (heating systems, fire alarms, etc.)
- Identify the need for repairs on devices, structures and systems and coordinate all necessary repairs with vendors and facilities.
- Assure quality of cleaning vendors at all facilities.
- Maintain exterior of facilities to include proper waste disposal and recycling exterior lights.
- Assist with maintenance and repairs of office equipment.
- Manage company fleet maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with local and state code and health/safety regulations.
- Assist with special events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
