Overview

The position will assist in related risk management with respect to the businesses of Global markets and Treasury business, including supporting the management of related IT systems, ensuring proper data management and user access controls according to the Bank’s policy and procedures, head office regulations and other applicable rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

System Management

• Lead and monitor the full implementation process of new systems, system upgrades and alterations according to the Bank’s overall plan
• Direct and help business users to translate business needs into functional design, test planning and user documentation
• Direct and lead risk managers to translate risk control needs into functional design, test planning and user documentation
• Provide expertise on new activity processes with respect to I.T. issues
• Coordinate and support the maintenance of related information and management systems
• Manage and maintain proper user access controls of related systems according to the Bank’s policies and procedures
• Manage and maintain static and market data of related information and management systems
• Assist in the management of operational risks
• Provide assistance to other branches in the region with respect to questions on global markets and treasury business related systems
• Other tasks assigned

Risk Control

• Communicate with other departments on resolving risk related issues/concerns
• Proactively improve the risk monitoring and controlling procedures of the risk monitor in the Global Markets and Treasury business
• Assist with the review and dissemination of other departmental Policy and Procedures
• Coordinate with related departments and HO in the application and management of the related risks
• Provide assistance to other branches in the region with respect to risk monitor

Reports

• Monitor, control and report on related risks in the Global Markets and Treasury business
• Review periodic business and risk analysis reports to General Management of the branch and Head Office
• Review risk warning reports
• Review the analysis reports on risks of the business
• Direct the preparation of the research reports assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required for this position
• A minimum of 2 years of financial market business related experience and at least 3 years of IT system related experience in the banking industry are required
• Knowledge of financial instruments and products (Foreign exchange, money market, Fixed Income, Interest Rate Swap, Repo, etc…) is required
• Proficiency in computer platforms and applications; is required
• Experience related to SQL, VBA, Python is a plus
• Bilingual abilities in both English and Chinese are highly preferred

Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.

Salary : $150,000
