Job Description:
The Testing Specialist I works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through Enterprise Independent Testing governance routines and/or special projects. This role interacts extensively with internal or external contacts to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems.
The Testing Specialist I is accountable for accurate and timely test execution and/or support activities related to a Testing Functional area. This role works closely with Risk, Compliance, and SMEs to conduct testing.
Daily responsibilities of the Testing Specialist I include execution of test scripts, identifying and documenting defects and providing daily updates to test leads and managers as needed.
The Testing Specialist I, under supervision, conducts independent transactional and process testing on a team in support of needs identified by Compliance and Operational Risk Officers. Testing may be conducted on site.
The Testing Specialist I is accountable for quality testing execution, reporting and analysis of results. This role may participate in test script development and test design.
The Testing Specialist I may collaborate with Compliance and Operational Risk on the identification of themes and trends at the front line unit, control function and enterprise level. This role is an individual contributor in the Test Execution function.
