The Protective Intelligence Analyst serves as a senior protective intelligence practitioner responsible for identifying, assessing, and communicating threats and risks affecting executive leadership, critical business activities, and enterprise operations. Leveraging physical, cyber, and open-source intelligence, the Protective Intelligence Analyst helps anticipate emerging threats, supports executive protection operations, and strengthens organizational readiness in an increasingly complex risk environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Intelligence-Led Executive Protection Support: Partner closely with Executive Protection teams to ensure protective operations, executive travel, and high-profile engagements are informed by current intelligence, threat assessments, and situational awareness.
  • Produce Strategic Intelligence Products: Develop executive-level intelligence reports, threat briefings, travel assessments, risk summaries, and analytical products that support protective decision-making and operational planning.
  • Lead Complex Intelligence Analysis: Apply advanced analytical methodologies and critical thinking to identify patterns, evaluate threats, and assess potential impacts from physical, cyber-enabled, geopolitical, criminal, activist, insider, and reputational risks.
  • Leverage Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT): Conduct sophisticated OSINT collection and analysis to identify emerging threats, monitor public sentiment, assess adversarial activity, and support executive protection and investigative efforts.
  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Threat Coordination: Coordinate intelligence sharing and risk discussions across Protective Intelligence, Executive Protection, Cyber Security, Threat Management, Incident Response, and other security partners to promote a unified understanding of executive risk.
  • Support Cyber-Physical Risk Integration: Collaborate with Information Security and Cyber Intelligence teams to identify converged threats and ensure digital and physical risk indicators are incorporated into executive security planning.
  • Support Crisis and Incident Response: Provide intelligence support during security incidents affecting executives or critical business operations, delivering timely threat assessments, situational awareness updates, and analytical recommendations.
  • Advise Senior Leaders on Emerging Risks: Brief Corporate Security leadership, Executive Protection leaders, and other key stakeholders on significant threat developments, emerging trends, and evolving executive risk considerations.
  • Maintain Strategic External Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement, intelligence agencies, industry partners, and information-sharing organizations to enhance threat awareness and intelligence exchange.
  • Support Executive Travel and Major Events: Provide intelligence assessment, monitoring, and risk analysis for executive travel, public appearances, shareholder meetings, and other high-profile events requiring enhanced security planning.
  • Advance Protective Intelligence Capabilities: Contribute to the evolution of protective intelligence methodologies, technologies, reporting standards, training programs, and operating procedures to strengthen the effectiveness of the function.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting executive protection programs through intelligence-led risk identification, threat monitoring, and security planning.
  • Strong knowledge of protective intelligence methodologies, threat assessment frameworks, behavioral threat indicators, and executive risk management principles.
  • Experience conducting intelligence collection and analysis utilizing Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), social media intelligence, public records, commercial databases, and other intelligence sources.
  • Experience assessing and communicating physical, cyber-enabled, reputational, insider, and geopolitical threats.
  • Superior research skills, including ability to quickly research and provide analysis on complex and unfamiliar topics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); proven ability to interact with and effectively support a wide range of consumers, up to and including senior leaders; excellent briefing skills and ability to synthesize large volumes of data quickly for multiple customer sets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare concise, executive-level intelligence reports, briefings, and recommendations.
  • Experience operating in complex, fast paced, and highly sensitive environments requiring discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
