Bank Midwest is seeking an Ag/Commercial Lender to join our team as VP, Business Banker! This position could be located in either our full-service New Ulm branch, or our new lending office in Mankato. Must enjoy working in a team environment that values honesty, integrity, and a passion for service and community involvement.
- Responsibilities / Duties:
- Build long-term relationships with business and agricultural clients by providing extensive financial analysis and guidance on business practices.
- Develop new business, underwriting, structuring, and closing of commercial and/or agricultural loans.
- Maintain and service existing loan portfolio.
- Competencies
- Strong financial analytical skills with ability to provide sound business guidance.
- Originate, analyze, and service a variety of moderately complex commercial and/or agricultural loans.
- Must be successful in sales process and ability to sell bank products and services.
- Strong self-motivation, relationship-building, and customer focus.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Economics, or equivalent work experience.
- Five years Ag and/or Commercial lending experience preferred.
