Role Description The Loan Servicing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mineral Point, WI. The position of Loan Servicing Specialist is a detail oriented professional responsible for performing various loan servicing functions that occur throughout the full life cycle of a loan.
Essential Duties
- Monitors collateral addenda and other tickler systems to ensure proper receipt of collateral documentation.
- Processes incoming draws, reviews documentation for proper approvals and makes loan disbursements according to the approved parameters.
- Processes participation draws / payments and solves for discrepancies in the same.
- Responds to loan officer, loan administrator or consumer/participant bank inquiries related to account balances, loan balances, and payoff requests.
- Processes paid loans and terminates collateral within the service level agreement timeline.
- Corrects loan accounting system errors as necessary.
- Provides support for various special projects as directed.
- Provides effective customer service to all internal and external customers
- Calculates loan pay off amounts for all types of loans with urgency where needed.
- Supports Leadership by participating in projects with hard deadlines.
