Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team in the hospitality industry. This shift is from 11pm to 7am 3 to 5 nights per week. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk responsibilities. This position requires a strong understanding of hotel procedures and guest relations, as well as excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in billing and payments.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs of guests.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Monitor security systems and ensure the safety of guests and property.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing reports for management.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to communicate with guests and staff.
Experience
- Previous hotel experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone etiquette is essential.
