Sales Associate

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and assisting customers with their purchases. Experience in antique sales is preferred but not required, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn and grow within retail.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Process cash transactions efficiently and accurately at the point of sale
• Handle cash drawer with care, ensuring proper reconciliation at the end of each shift
• Engage in sales activities to meet or exceed sales goals
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor to create an inviting environment
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to better assist customers
• Support inventory management and restocking as needed
• Demonstrate basic math skills for calculating totals, discounts, and change

Experience

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with basic math operations is essential for handling transactions
• Antique sales experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for interested candidates
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor are important for success in this role

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
