Who We Are Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Preferred: Currently enrolled in a local college or university program in hospitality, business, culinary arts, or a related field
- Strong work ethic and a professional attitude
- Excellent communication and leadership potential
- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule
- This is not a seasonal position — a year-round commitment is required
- Serious candidates only — for the right candidate, this part-time role has the potential to grow into a full-time Restaurant Manager position
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in daily operations, helping to streamline workflow and make restaurant management more efficient
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels, minimizing waste, and controlling costs
- Oversee ordering to ensure the kitchen and front of house are always properly stocked
- Manage employee scheduling and labor to ensure adequate coverage while controlling labor costs
- Monitor and maintain food quality to ensure it consistently meets company standards
- Learn and develop training skills to assist in onboarding and coaching new team members
- Address guest complaints professionally and ensure all issues are resolved to the guest's satisfaction, upholding a positive dining experience
- Must be willing to obtain the Nassau County Food Manager Certification as a condition of employment
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
