FVP, Head of Treasury Management
Banesco USA is seeking an FVP, Head of Treasury Management to lead our Treasury Management Business Unit.
Primary Job Duties
- Treasury Management Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Responsible for identifying, analyzing, selling, and supporting Treasury Management products and services to established business customers and targeted prospective clients across all business units.
- Contributes to the bank’s deposit growth strategies and goals by generating additional revenue from the sale of Treasury Management products and services.
- Evaluates profitability of Treasury Management products by customer.
- Works closely with finance and bank’s treasury teams to improve portfolio profitability as well as bank’s liquidity strategies.
- Provides Treasury Management product training to the sales teams to maximize referral opportunities.
- Builds relationships with customers through regularly scheduled visits, sales and cross sales for referrals and potential new business.
- "Design and oversee a sophisticated onboarding ecosystem that ensures a 'white-glove' experience for commercial clients
- Responsible for the digital branch which includes the management of the online account portfolio, execution of business and client retention strategies
- Serve as the visionary leader for the Treasury Management division, fostering a culture of high performance and client centricity
- Operational Excellence:
- Owns the end-to-end treasury management onboarding and customer service processes and responsible for process continuous improvements to improve operational efficiencies, customer experience and profitability
- Reports activity trends to executive management on a monthly basis.
- Responsible for the Safety and Sound of the Treasury Management program,
- Responsible for maintaining department’s processes and procedures in order to comply with the internal audit program.
- Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.
- Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Finance or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in Treasury Management. Five (5) years or more managing sales teams.
- Advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) or Google Suite.
- Knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.
- Customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
- Ability to understand and comprehend instructions, procedures and policies ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently with the ability to make decisions according to established guidelines and accomplish tasks accurately and on a timely basis.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills in order to resolve problems with clearly identifies root cause and preset recommendations with minimal to no supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills, working with integrity and ethically, upholding the organizational values.
- Strong presentation skills to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to be discrete and use sound judgement when making decisions.
- Ability to drive change to improve customer experience and enhance our bank.
