Job Duties for Regional Director of Operations:
- Define, implement, and communicate the strategic direction for the organization’s operations division.
- Partner with executive leadership to achieve company objectives, providing expertise and guidance on operational strategies, systems, and initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to support and execute organizational goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements, technologies, and systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization.
- Ensure departmental decisions and project plans—including staffing, organizational design, material usage, capital investments, and facilities—align with the company’s overall business strategy and vision.
- Develop, communicate, and enforce operational policies, standards, procedures, and security measures to ensure consistent and effective execution.
- Review and approve cost-control analyses, project budgets, and staffing plans to ensure financial efficiency.
- Oversee and manage the department’s budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources.
- Deliver regular performance reports, insights, and key metrics to the CEO and senior leadership team.
- Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in operations management.
- Assess organizational training needs and ensure the development and delivery of effective training programs.

- Bachelor’s degree required, degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in Healthcare Administration or Healthcare Management.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience in the skilled nursing, assisted living, or elder care industry.
- Proven experience managing multiple locations or centers simultaneously.
- Massachusetts Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) required.
- Strong background in staff development and training within long-term care settings.
- Ability to maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Must meet all health requirements and successfully pass background screenings in accordance with regulatory standards.
