- Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- One year of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting.
- Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills.
- Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency preferred, but not required, to meet the needs of a beautifully diverse workforce and patient population
- Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges
- Supervise and mentor nurses and CNAs, to foster growth and learning in clinical team
- Manage staffing changes
- Support family inquiries and screen visitors
- Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions
- Ensure high quality resident/patient care
- Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
