MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
The Assistant Manager assist the General Manager with providing support for running a profitable restaurant and making sure the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high! The Assistant Manager works with his/her leader to provides support for the GM to achieve the restaurant’s goals and helps creates a plan to achieve the goals.

To meet restaurant goals, the Assistant Manager assists the GM to make sure each Department Manager leads his/her team and maintains their specific responsibilities in the restaurant. This means helping the Department Managers to set their own goals, following up on their progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their Departments. By improving the Departments, the restaurant improves!
The Assistant Manager also helps with making sure each department manager runs their department accurately and responsible and in making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Also these department managers’ responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems, like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers.
