Role Description The Construction Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL, responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects. This role coordinates subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, schedule, and quality standards. The superintendent monitors jobsite safety, conducts daily walkthroughs and meetings, and enforces company and regulatory safety requirements. Responsibilities include tracking progress against the project schedule, assisting with short-interval planning, and communicating updates and issues to the project manager and other stakeholders. The role also involves reviewing drawings, resolving field conflicts, maintaining site documentation and logs, and supporting inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.
